Barnet and Southgate College is pleased to announce the launch of its Dry Lining Academy with Conneely Group.
Excellent, highly skilled dry liners are in demand, this partnership aims to provide training that fast tracks applicants into the industry through a short introductory course leading onto an Apprenticeship with the specialist dry lining company – Conneely.
Candidates will need to be 19+, be unemployed and in receipt of benefits, have an excellent work ethic, have a strong interest in a practical trade, and be available for a full time introductory course from January which will lead on to a full time job as an Apprentice Dry Liner in February – if they are successful at interview.
Screening sessions will take place at Colindale Campus on 17 January 2018 at 10.30 and 13.30.
Interested candidates should complete the form on the right or speak to their Work Coach at JCP and ask them to refer them on to one of the sessions; they will then receive an invitation letter.
An Introduction to Dry Lining - 2 week course
This 2 week course includes:
- Level 1 Award in Personal Development
- Level 1 Award in Health and Safety for Construction
- CSCS card
- Basic Dry Lining Practical Workshop
- An Introduction to Conneely on-site
Recruitment will begin in the New Year for an approximate start date of 20th January 2018
